Joe and Carole relocated to California from Kalispell, Montana where they had pastored for 35 years. They have been married since 1971 and have been blessed with a daughter (and wonderful son-in-law), a son (and amazing daughter-in-law) and three outstanding grandchildren. They feel that their children, spouses, and grandchildren are their greatest living testimony… as they are all serving the Lord.
Joe has always been burdened to reach the lost, consequently, he felt the call of God to move to Montana to start a work. After many Bible Studies, prayer and fasting—and a lot of hard work, New Life Center UPCI was born. The church is still growing and evolving today because of God’s blessing, Joe’s calling, and their burden for the lost. Joe became an Ordained Minister, with the United Pentecostal church, and served as a Presbyter for the Rocky Mountain District.
Carole has her Master of Science Degree in Education and was the Instructional Specialist (Language Arts Lab) and Adjunct Professor at Flathead Community College in Montana. Her first calling has always been to teach, and to reach those who are in the darkest places. Consequently, she has had the opportunity to witness to the unreachable, and unloved, in every school she has taught in. Presently, she is working for Lodi Unified School District—and striving to reach her co-workers and students.
Together, the Pinnell’s are the Directors of the Marrieds’ Ministry. They love people and know that God’s desire for married couples is to have a strong marriage, with a foundation of Biblical principles. They believe marriage provides an opportunity for two individuals to form a partnership where they can pursue God’s will as a unit.
