Randy and Alona met at Christian Life College in Stockton Ca. Randy was raised in Southern California and Alona is a native of Lahaina, Hawaii. Soon after their marriage Alona became a member of Lighthouse of the Valley in Stockton (formerly known as Sierra Vista CLC) with her husband who was already a member.
The Gallegos served in various ministries which included, but is not limited to Youth Pastor, Music Ministry, Children’s Ministry, and Spanish Ministry. Randy is an Ordained Minister under Lighthouse of the Valley Ministries, and currently serves as the Senior Pastor of Lighthouse of Maui (a daughter church of L.O.V.).
In 2009, the Gallegos relocated to the Island of Maui Hawaii to be closer to family and employment opportunities. At present Randy is a Regional Director of Loss Prevention at a major hotel, and Alona is a full time hotel employee as well.
Although the Gallegos work in a secular environment, their passion for ministry has never waned. In 2018 the Gallegos visited Stockton and revitalized their connection with Pastor and Sis. Delgado. After returning to Maui the Gallegos discussed with Pastor and Sis. Delgado about the possibility of planting a daughter church in the Island Maui. From that conversation Lighthouse of Maui was birthed.
The Gallegos have been groomed for pastoral & music ministry while attending Christian Life College as well as working alongside various Senior Pastors. They have three sons (Randy Jr., Marcelo, and Maleek). As a family the Gallegos are passionate about creating an environment that people can be accepted and truly become disciples of Jesus Christ.
